You reason that you are different than you were say 6mo ago when you smoked. Today you have things figured out. Your thinking is much clearer than before. So when someone offers you a cigarette you pause for a second but then hear your self say “sure, why not.”
You have just under estimated the effect of that ONE cigarette. You have just been HOOKED again.
The hardest part of quitting is staying a quitter. Don’t fall prey to this type of thinking. Say no and walk-away fast. One cigarette is all is takes to ensnare you.
