[widget id=”ad_unit-10″]ad_unit-10[/widget]If I was in an imaginary world where I smoked and wanted to quit and my only two choices to quit were to take the nicotine gum or the nicotine patch which would I chose? I would chose the patch any day over the gum.
Why would I chose the patch over the gum? Simply based on the number of people I have seen sucessfully quit smoking using only the gum (which is nearly zero) compared to those I witnessed quit with only the patch.
My opinion is that the delivery of the nicotine orally is just not as good as it is transdermally (through the skin). And that simple fact makes all the difference in why one works so well compared to the other method.
