That is so 2007…I used to think that way back then. But not anymore. As a matter of fact it seems that Chantix is as safe as any other prescription smoking cessation treatment.
Back in 2006 and 2007 there were some well publicized death attributed to Chantix. (Rightly or wrongly so I cannot tell). But after all the media blitz and hoopla died down the evidence points at Chantix not just being twice as effective as nicotine replacement therapies but pretty darn safe too.
