Quit Smoking – Putting Your Hand to Your Face Theory

If you smoke 20 cigarettes or a pack daily, you are putting your hand to your mouth at least 200 times a day.

This is the reason some people claim the oral fixation theory. I don’t buy it really. As a habit we put our hands to our face daily anyway. If you feed the need to keep your hands busy please don’t do it but eating. It will only serve to increase your waist line and ultimately hamper your attempt to quit smoking.
