What If I Fell Off The Wagon?

[widget id=”ad_unit-10″]ad_unit-10[/widget]”I tried quitting smoking before and started smoking again.”

Is this what you are thinking right now? If the answer is yes repeat after me: SO WHAT?? Don’t let what happened in your past stop you from moving forward in your future. Many smokers try to quit several times before they finally succeed.

D-Small-People-Help-To-Get-Up-42820039Approach your CURRENT attempt fresh, optimistic and without any doubt that you will succeed. Use what you learned in your past experiences to know what works and what does NOT work for you. The only way for you to fail is to stop trying.

Thomas Edison said,

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

It’s okay if you fail to quit as long as you keep trying to quit one more time than you fail.

Some people are so afraid of failing it paralyzes them so they never try anything unless they are sure they can succeed. People who lack courage never risk losing. You may agree that living your life that way is boring.

So be courageous and fear not. As Winston Churchill remarked:

“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”

So failing to quit smoking is fine as long as you don’t stop trying.

To Your Success,
Dr. Howell
